The NYS&W 2066 and 3 empty cars for Baillee Lumber in Sherburne, NY are seen in Sauquoit, NY on a very small creek bridge. This was the first run South of Utica on this week in 2007 due to snow, thaw, and more snow. On our Form-D track authority, we were restricted to 10mph for the entire trip and had to stop and proceed at every road crossing. The NYS&W learned from the 2 C430s that rolled over in crossing accidents under similar weather conditions. We derailed later that day on a crossing, but it was only 1 wheel. |
